The Rockin’A Ranch is a family owned ranch, owned and operated by Gerald and Ivey Almond. The ranch has approximately 700 animals consisting of more than 25 difference species. Among these are buffalo, antelope, cattle, sheep, goats, and donkeys.  These animals are part of a breeding program and private collection.

The Rockin’A Ranch also has a USDA licensed and fully insured traveling petting zoo. The zoo has a variety of people friendly animals that love to be petted and fed treats. Among the animals are camels,  zedonk, yak, goats, sheep, donkeys, and zebu. During the spring and fall we also have a nice group of bottle babies, which might include baby buffalo, baby llama and baby sheep and goats. The children always love to feed the little ones their milk in bottles.  We also permit farm visits by appointment only.

We offer animals for live nativity scenes. We have camels, donkeys, cows, sheep and goats.  These animals are well trained and make a great addition to any Christmas Program.

As a result of our breeding program and our petting zoo, we often offer animals for sale. These animals can be seen at the farm or posted in our sale pen at our website.

Children and adults both love pony and horse rides. We offer this service too.

We are available for fairs, festivals, private parties, reunions and grand opening events. Book early as our schedule fills up quickly.  We can also do educational shows for day care centers, schools, and nursing homes.  For all your special events, contact the Rockin’ A Ranch.
